Care

Basic Shawl Care

• With proper care your shawl will last a lifetime and generations to come. When you wear your shawl, make sure it doesn't come into contact with sharp metal jewelry, belts, or rough handbags because these can snag the fibers and wear them down.

• Always use a pressing cloth on top of the fabric when ironing and never let it rest on any embellishment such as embroidery, beading, or sequins.

• We recommend DRY CLEAN ONLY. Water can damage the wool fibers in the shawl

Shawl Storage

• Store folded Flat without creasing it in a canvas sweater bag or a dark drawer or box. I perfer to put herb sachets in the draw to keep them fresh.

• Do not drape your shawl on a clothes hanger for storage. To protect the beading and embroidery, store Flat Folded only.

• Store in a dry, never a damp environment.
